Bracelet Size Guide

Find your perfect fit for bracelets and sacred jewelry.

Bracelet Size Chart

Measure your wrist circumference and find your size below. If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a comfortable fit.

Size Wrist (cm) Wrist (inches) Bracelet Length
S 14 – 15.5 cm 5.5" – 6.1" 16.5 cm / 6.5"
M Women's Average 15.5 – 17 cm 6.1" – 6.7" 18 cm / 7.0"
L 17 – 18.5 cm 6.7" – 7.3" 19.5 cm / 7.7"
XL Men's Average 18.5 – 20 cm 7.3" – 7.9" 21 cm / 8.0"
XXL 20 – 22 cm 7.9" – 8.7" 23 cm / 9.0"

How to measure your wrist

How to Measure Your Wrist

  1. 1 Wrap a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet.
  2. 2 Mark the point where the tape or paper overlaps. Make sure it's snug but not tight — you should be able to fit one finger underneath.
  3. 3 If using paper, lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler. This is your wrist circumference.
  4. 4 Match your measurement to the size chart above. For a looser fit, add 0.5 – 1 cm to your wrist measurement.
No Measuring Tape?

Use a piece of string or strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the overlap, then measure the length against a ruler.

Bead Size Reference

The bead diameter affects the overall bracelet size and appearance. Here's a quick reference:

Bead Size Best For Look & Feel
6 mm Slim wrists / Delicate style Subtle, elegant
8 mm Most wrists / Everyday wear Balanced, classic
10 mm Medium to large wrists Bold, noticeable
12 mm Large wrists / Statement piece Chunky, powerful
14 mm+ Large wrists / Display pieces Extra bold, ceremonial

Ring Size Guide

Use the chart below to find your ring size. Measure your finger circumference and match it to the corresponding diameter.

Ring size chart — circumference and diameter in mm and inches

How to Choose Your Ring Size

  • If your finger circumference is around 2.17" (55 mm), we recommend selecting a ring with an inner diameter of 0.67" (17 mm).
  • If your circumference is 2.20–2.24" (56–57 mm), choose a diameter of 0.71" (18 mm).
  • For the most accurate measurement, visit a local jeweler to have your ring size professionally measured.
  • If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, measure at the widest point of your knuckle. This ensures the ring can slide over comfortably while still fitting well when worn.
Tips for Accurate Measurement

Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or swollen. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

All measurements are approximate. Natural stone and wood beads may have slight size variations. If you have any questions about sizing, please don't hesitate to contact us — we're happy to help you find the perfect fit.

Most crystal jewelry starts with a lapidary's wheel. This one doesn't. The amethyst in this pendant was pulled from the earth and left alone — its edges uncut, its surface unpolished, its shape entirely its own. What you see is what the stone actually is. That is not common.

Why Raw — What the Stone Looks Like Before Anyone Touches It

A polished amethyst is smooth and even. The color comes through cleanly. It looks finished. A raw amethyst looks like the inside of a rock — because that is exactly what it is. The surface has ridges and slight plateaus where crystals began to form. Light catches it differently depending on the angle. Some parts read lavender. Others go deep violet. The stone in this pendant has not been shaped to anyone's preference. It came out of the ground this way, and it stayed this way.

The wire wrap holds it. Silver-tone or gold-tone alloy wire is coiled by hand around the stone, securing it at the top and framing it at the sides. Because the stone has no uniform shape, the wrap has to adapt to each individual piece. That is why the coiling pattern varies slightly from pendant to pendant — it is not inconsistency, it is the natural result of wrapping something that refuses to be uniform.

Two Thousand Years of This Stone

The ancient Greeks carved drinking cups from amethyst. The belief was that the stone kept its owner clear-headed — sober in judgment if not always in drink. The word they used, amethystos, means "not intoxicated." That association with a clear, unfogged mind stayed with the stone across cultures and centuries.

Roman soldiers wore amethyst amulets in bronze settings. Medieval bishops wore it on their rings — it was thought to keep them grounded and free from temptation. Leonardo da Vinci kept amethyst nearby and wrote that it sharpened the intellect and drove off distraction. The stone appeared in the breastplate of the high priest Aaron, described in the Book of Exodus. It was part of royal collections across Egypt, Persia, and later the British Crown Jewels. For most of recorded history, amethyst sat alongside ruby and sapphire in value. It was only after large deposits were found in Brazil in the nineteenth century that supply increased and prices came down. The stone did not change. Only its availability did.

Today it is still the most expensive stone in the quartz family, and still the February birthstone. What changed is that more people can actually own one.

What the Tradition Associates It With

The oldest consistent association is clarity — the idea that amethyst helps a person think straighter, feel less scattered, stay more present. That thread runs from the Greek philosophers through medieval healers through contemporary crystal practice. The specific language shifts by era, but the underlying quality being described stays roughly the same: a quieting of the noise.

Practitioners today often place amethyst in the category of calming stones. It is said to carry a settling quality — useful during meditation, useful when a day has been too loud. Some who work with it describe a sense of coming back to themselves after wearing it for a while. The tradition also associates it with sleep: placed near the bed or worn to rest, it is long said to encourage peaceful, untroubled nights. None of this is medical claim. It is a tradition — one that has persisted across two millennia and dozens of cultures, which is its own kind of evidence that something about this stone speaks to people.

For those drawn to protection, amethyst has that history too. Ancient Egyptians carried it in amulets. The stone was used to ward off what older traditions called "negative energy" — the accumulated weight of difficult environments and difficult people. Wearing it close to the body, as a pendant does, was the preferred form.

The Crown Chakra and Why Wearing It at the Chest Changes Things

In the chakra system, amethyst is most closely tied to the Crown — at the top of the head, associated with clarity and spiritual awareness. It is also connected to the Third Eye, between the brows, which governs intuition. Practitioners working within this framework believe amethyst supports both.

A pendant at the chest sits near the heart and throat chakras — between the emotional centers below and the mental centers above. Some practitioners find that placement specifically useful because it bridges those two areas. The stone is not sitting on a shelf. It moves with the person, stays warm from body heat, stays close all day. That proximity is why many people choose a pendant over keeping a stone in a pocket or on a desk.

For those new to chakra concepts, the short version: amethyst has been associated for centuries with the qualities people reach for when life gets loud — calm, focus, a steadiness that doesn't require explanation. Whether the mechanism is energetic or simply the reminder of intention, wearing it is a daily practice for a lot of people.

Amethyst in Feng Shui — The Wealth Corner and Beyond

In feng shui, amethyst is traditionally placed in the wealth corner — the far left of a room as seen from the entrance. That spot is used to gather and strengthen financial energy, and amethyst is said to amplify it. Some practitioners use clusters or geodes fixed in that position. Others choose to wear the stone instead, keeping the intention on their person rather than anchored to one place in the home.

Beyond wealth, feng shui connects amethyst to clearing and protection — the kind of stone that belongs in spaces where calm and clear thinking matter: meditation rooms, studies, bedrooms. In Chinese tradition, purple corresponds to high spiritual attainment and the connection between the earthly and the divine. That is part of why amethyst appears so often in Tibetan Buddhist practice as well — violet and purple have long been the colors of the spiritual path in both traditions.

Care

Wipe the stone with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade amethyst's color over time. Keep the pendant away from perfume, lotions, and water — remove before bathing or swimming. Store flat or hanging to protect the cord.
