Liangshan South Red Agate & Jadeite Double-Loop Bracelet — Persimmon Red, Mountain Stone
Liangshan is one of the two great sources of south red agate — the other being Baoshan in Yunnan. The Liangshan variety tends toward deeper, warmer reds, and this bracelet uses raw ore beads: not dyed, not heat-treated, just cut from the stone as it came out of the ground. The jadeite beads threaded alongside bring a cool green contrast. Two strands. Double loop. Wraps twice around the wrist.
Persimmon Red — What the Name Means
Shizihong — persimmon red — is the most prized shade of south red agate. It is a warm, orange-tinted red, the color of ripe persimmons in autumn. Not the bright red of a traffic light. Not the dark red of garnet. Something in between — earthy, warm, alive. This color forms naturally when iron oxide deposits inside the silica over millions of years. No kiln, no dye. Just time.
The double-loop design means the bracelet feels more substantial than a single strand. It crosses at the center. The beads shift against each other as you move. It is a bracelet with weight and presence — not heavy, but intentional.
Benmingnian Ready
If you are in your zodiac year, red is the color. This bracelet covers that requirement while looking like something you chose, not something you settled for.
Care
Avoid impacts on the jadeite beads. Keep away from perfume and prolonged water. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Remove before swimming or showering.
