Bracelet Size Guide

Find your perfect fit for bracelets and sacred jewelry.

Bracelet Size Chart

Measure your wrist circumference and find your size below. If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a comfortable fit.

Size Wrist (cm) Wrist (inches) Bracelet Length
S 14 – 15.5 cm 5.5" – 6.1" 16.5 cm / 6.5"
M Women's Average 15.5 – 17 cm 6.1" – 6.7" 18 cm / 7.0"
L 17 – 18.5 cm 6.7" – 7.3" 19.5 cm / 7.7"
XL Men's Average 18.5 – 20 cm 7.3" – 7.9" 21 cm / 8.0"
XXL 20 – 22 cm 7.9" – 8.7" 23 cm / 9.0"

How to measure your wrist

How to Measure Your Wrist

  1. 1 Wrap a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet.
  2. 2 Mark the point where the tape or paper overlaps. Make sure it's snug but not tight — you should be able to fit one finger underneath.
  3. 3 If using paper, lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler. This is your wrist circumference.
  4. 4 Match your measurement to the size chart above. For a looser fit, add 0.5 – 1 cm to your wrist measurement.
No Measuring Tape?

Use a piece of string or strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the overlap, then measure the length against a ruler.

Bead Size Reference

The bead diameter affects the overall bracelet size and appearance. Here's a quick reference:

Bead Size Best For Look & Feel
6 mm Slim wrists / Delicate style Subtle, elegant
8 mm Most wrists / Everyday wear Balanced, classic
10 mm Medium to large wrists Bold, noticeable
12 mm Large wrists / Statement piece Chunky, powerful
14 mm+ Large wrists / Display pieces Extra bold, ceremonial

Ring Size Guide

Use the chart below to find your ring size. Measure your finger circumference and match it to the corresponding diameter.

Ring size chart — circumference and diameter in mm and inches

How to Choose Your Ring Size

  • If your finger circumference is around 2.17" (55 mm), we recommend selecting a ring with an inner diameter of 0.67" (17 mm).
  • If your circumference is 2.20–2.24" (56–57 mm), choose a diameter of 0.71" (18 mm).
  • For the most accurate measurement, visit a local jeweler to have your ring size professionally measured.
  • If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, measure at the widest point of your knuckle. This ensures the ring can slide over comfortably while still fitting well when worn.
Tips for Accurate Measurement

Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or swollen. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

All measurements are approximate. Natural stone and wood beads may have slight size variations. If you have any questions about sizing, please don't hesitate to contact us — we're happy to help you find the perfect fit.

Black obsidian has always been a stone of protection. In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, that protection deepens when you wear the right guardian Buddha — the one tied to your birth year. This is not random assignment. Eight major Buddhas correspond to the twelve zodiac animals. Find yours, and you are wearing something that was meant for you.

Which Buddha Protects Your Zodiac Sign

Your birth year determines your guardian. Rat (1900, 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020) wears Avalokiteshvara — Thousand-Armed Guanyin.

Ox (1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021) and Tiger (1902, 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022) both turn to Ksitigarbha.

 Rabbit (1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023) carries Manjushri.

Dragon (1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, 2024) and Snake (1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, 2025) look to Samantabhadra.

Horse (1906, 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014) wears Mahasthamaprapta.

Sheep (1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015) and Monkey (1908, 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016) both connect to Vairocana.

Rooster (1909, 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017) carries Akshobhya.

 Dog (1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018) and Pig (1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019) turn to Amitabha.

The Eight Guardian Buddhas Explained

Vairocana — the Great Sun Buddha — sits at the center of the mandala. Practitioners say he brings clarity and sees all things as they truly are. Sheep and Monkey wear him for that unblinking vision.

Akshobhya — the Immovable One — cannot be shaken. His name means he does not waver. Rooster people carry him for steadiness when everything around them moves.

Samantabhadra — the Bodhisattva of Universal Virtue — embodies the vow to practice without end. He rides a six-tusked elephant, a symbol of patience that moves through every obstacle. Dragon and Snake wear him because his commitment does not break.

Amitabha — the Buddha of Infinite Light — welcomes all beings without judgment. Dog and Pig wear him because his compassion has no conditions. He is the refuge when you feel turned away.

Mahasthamaprapta — the Bodhisattva of Boundless Strength — arrives with the force of wisdom, not violence. His light reaches those who have lost direction. Horse people wear him because his power is quiet and sure.

Avalokiteshvara — Thousand-Armed Guanyin — has a thousand hands because compassion never runs out of ways to help. Rat people wear her because she listens. She hears what is not said.

Manjushri — the Bodhisattva of Wisdom — carries a sword that cuts through confusion. Rabbit people wear him to see clearly through what clouds the mind. His blade is not violent. It is precise.

Ksitigarbha — the Earth Store Bodhisattva — descends into the darkest places to bring beings back to light. Ox and Tiger wear him because he does not abandon anyone. He goes where others will not.

Tibetan Buddhism vs Chinese Zodiac — The Connection

This pairing is not ancient. It emerged over centuries as Tibetan Buddhism moved through China and Mongolia. The eight Buddhas come from Sanskrit texts and Tibetan practice. The twelve zodiac animals come from Chinese astrology — a system that predates Buddhism by centuries. When these two traditions met, practitioners began mapping one onto the other.

The logic was practical. A person born in a certain year already had a zodiac animal. Why not give them a guardian Buddha to match? Over time, this became standard across Tibetan communities in China, Mongolia, and beyond. It is not doctrine. It is lived practice — a way of saying: your birth year is not random, and neither is your spiritual path.

Black obsidian amplifies this connection. The stone forms from volcanic glass — rapid cooling, no time for crystal structure to develop. In feng shui terms, that density is said to absorb and ground. Wearing it with your guardian Buddha means you are not just carrying a symbol. You are wearing something that practitioners believe holds you steady to your own path.

Care: Avoid prolonged water exposure and harsh impacts. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Remove before swimming or bathing.
