How to Measure Your Wrist
- 1 Wrap a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet.
- 2 Mark the point where the tape or paper overlaps. Make sure it's snug but not tight — you should be able to fit one finger underneath.
- 3 If using paper, lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler. This is your wrist circumference.
- 4 Match your measurement to the size chart above. For a looser fit, add 0.5 – 1 cm to your wrist measurement.
Use a piece of string or strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the overlap, then measure the length against a ruler.

How to Choose Your Ring Size
- If your finger circumference is around 2.17" (55 mm), we recommend selecting a ring with an inner diameter of 0.67" (17 mm).
- If your circumference is 2.20–2.24" (56–57 mm), choose a diameter of 0.71" (18 mm).
- For the most accurate measurement, visit a local jeweler to have your ring size professionally measured.
- If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, measure at the widest point of your knuckle. This ensures the ring can slide over comfortably while still fitting well when worn.
Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or swollen. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Peach wood has held a specific place in Chinese protective tradition for well over a thousand years. Old texts reference it for warding off harmful influences; folk practitioners kept peach wood objects in the home or on the body. The logic was partly botanical — the peach tree blooms early and vigorously, associated with vitality — and partly accumulated cultural weight. This bracelet uses aged peach wood (老桃木), which refers to older sections of the tree with denser grain and deeper natural color than younger cuts.
Aged versus Regular Peach Wood
老桃木 — literally "old peach wood" — is sourced from older sections of the tree, where the wood has had more time to densify. The result is a richer reddish-brown grain and a slightly heavier bead compared to younger cuts. Under light it shows natural figuring — streaks and rings that vary between beads. No two bracelets are identical. This variation is part of what collectors and practitioners value about natural wood malas.
Three Bead Sizes and Who They Fit
The 6mm beads sit close and light — suited to narrower wrists or those who prefer a more minimal look. The 8mm is the middle ground, comfortable on most adult wrists. The 10mm beads are substantial — each one is clearly felt between the fingers during practice, which some people prefer for counting work. A rough guide: if your wrist is under 6.5 inches, the 6mm or 8mm wears better. Over 7 inches, the 10mm looks proportionate.
