1cm Micro Tsa-Tsa Thangka Pendant — Hand-Painted Deity in Square Leather Casing
About the 1cm Format
At roughly one centimeter across, this is about as small as a hand-painted thangka image gets while still being legible. The image sits inside a square brown leather frame — compact, firm, and flat enough to layer comfortably under clothing. It is a different object than a larger pendant. The miniature format has its own tradition: in Tibetan practice, practitioners have long kept tiny deity images on their person during travel, tucked into ghau boxes or sewn into garments. This follows the same logic — presence over display.
The casing is brown leather, square in shape. The image window is small but clear. Each piece is hand-painted — not printed — which means slight variation from piece to piece.
Deity Options
Seventeen figures are available, covering the major wealth gods of Tibetan and Chinese tradition, protective figures like Mahakala, wisdom figures like Manjushri, the beloved Green Tara, and several Chinese folk figures including Wuye, Zakiram, and two fox spirit variants — Changli and Ruying — each drawn from Chinese mythology as figures of fortune and cleverness. Past Life & Present Life is a paired devotional image kept by some as a meditation on continuity and cause.
Care
Keep away from water and perfume. Wipe the leather casing with a dry soft cloth. Handle the image area gently — avoid rubbing the painted surface directly.

• Left hand: for protection, healing, or attracting abundance
• Right hand: for releasing or giving energy
