How to Measure Your Wrist
- 1 Wrap a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet.
- 2 Mark the point where the tape or paper overlaps. Make sure it's snug but not tight — you should be able to fit one finger underneath.
- 3 If using paper, lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler. This is your wrist circumference.
- 4 Match your measurement to the size chart above. For a looser fit, add 0.5 – 1 cm to your wrist measurement.
Use a piece of string or strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the overlap, then measure the length against a ruler.

How to Choose Your Ring Size
- If your finger circumference is around 2.17" (55 mm), we recommend selecting a ring with an inner diameter of 0.67" (17 mm).
- If your circumference is 2.20–2.24" (56–57 mm), choose a diameter of 0.71" (18 mm).
- For the most accurate measurement, visit a local jeweler to have your ring size professionally measured.
- If your knuckle is noticeably wider than the base of your finger, measure at the widest point of your knuckle. This ensures the ring can slide over comfortably while still fitting well when worn.
Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or swollen. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Where Gold-Silk Jade Comes From
Gold-silk jade is found in the Gobi desert regions of Xinjiang, China. Wind erosion shapes the raw stones over long periods before they are cut and polished. The result is a material with a warm color palette running from amber and yellow-gold to reddish-brown, with thread-like veining — the "gold silk" the name refers to. Each bead is cut from a different part of the stone, so color and pattern vary from bead to bead.
In Chinese folk tradition, desert-origin stones like this long have been associated with good fortune and vitality. The tradition holds that carrying or wearing natural stone keeps a connection to the earth. Whether or not that matters to you, the material holds up as jewelry on its own terms — dense, warm-toned, and distinctive.
Pumpkin Beads and What They Add
The pumpkin bead shape — a round bead with vertical ridges — has a long history in Chinese bead jewelry. The gourd and pumpkin form is said to carry associations with abundance and health in Chinese folk culture. Practically, the ridges give the bead more surface texture and visual depth than a plain round.
